About This Role

Doha Academy is a growing network of British-curriculum schools situated in the vibrant and diverse capital of Qatar, Doha. As a member of the Al Faleh Educational Holding Group, our goal is to provide outstanding, inclusive K-12 education grounded in Islamic values.

Position Overview

We are seeking a committed EAL Specialist & Literacy Lead to teach Primary & Secondary English at our main campus in Al Waab. This position will involve considerable effort in creating a literacy development program tailored to assist students whose first language is Arabic. Furthermore, the successful applicant will support other teachers in refining their English as a Second Language strategies throughout the school’s curriculum.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess experience teaching English for Key Stages 3, 4, or 5 in an international school setting where English is not the first language. Experience in TEFL-style environments would also be advantageous.

Contract Details

This position is set to commence on August 25th and is available as a two-year fixed-term contract, offering excellent prospects for professional growth and career advancement within our organization.
