Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver stimulating, inquiry-driven lessons that spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and foster a passion for learning.
- Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes individual strengths and diverse learning styles.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the varied needs of all students, including those who are EAL, gifted, or in need of additional assistance.
- Utilize technology and innovative techniques to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, using data to guide instruction and personalized support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.
- Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and the larger school community to support student development and well-being.
- Engage in continuous professional development and self-reflection to improve teaching practices.
- Embody the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in all facets of school life.
