Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Vin Nexus Center
About This Role
As a BCBA, your career opportunities are vast. Vin Nexus Center offers a distinctive opportunity to join the founding team of a purpose-driven, non-profit special education school in Vietnam, where Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is integrated within a comprehensive educational framework rather than treated as a standalone service.
This role goes beyond individual case management. As a BCBA at Vin Nexus Center, you will be instrumental in developing sustainable, school-based behavioral systems that provide long-term benefits to students, educators, and families, grounded in ethical practices, evidence-based decisions, and professional judgment.
This position is ideal for BCBAs who are motivated by innovative work, a lasting impact, and the chance to help shape a new special education model that is still emerging in Vietnam.
We are seeking a BCBA who:
- Has significant experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, typically 3–5 years or more, with a solid background in Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) development, data-driven decision-making, and parental involvement training.
- Holds current BCBA certification and has obtained a Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field from an accredited institution, meeting all ABA educational prerequisites.
- Has experience in school-based or multidisciplinary environments, or is enthusiastic about transitioning from clinic-based practices to a cohesive educational setting.
- Demonstrates professional and collaborative communication with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families, while upholding ethical standards and organizational policies.
- Is ready to work on-site and contribute to a safe, structured, and nurturing therapeutic environment that aligns with the mission and vision of Vin Nexus Center.
In this role, you will:
- Perform Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) tailored to each learner’s requirements.
- Design and oversee individual and group-based ABA programs, monitoring implementation by RBTs and teaching assistants.
- Analyze behavioral data to monitor progress, adjust interventions, and communicate findings to families, educators, and leadership.
- Train, mentor, and supervise RBTs and teaching assistants in ABA techniques, data collection, and behavior support strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the academic team to integrate behavioral goals into classroom settings, ensuring a cohesive learning experience for students.
- Help establish school-wide behavioral frameworks, standards, and practices that promote consistency, dignity, and positive outcomes for all students.
What we provide:
- A compensation package that reflects the importance of your role, competitive and commensurate with your expertise, professional responsibilities, and contributions to developing a new special education model.
- A school-based ABA model with manageable caseloads, strong multidisciplinary collaboration, and a solid commitment to evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.
- A deeply mission-driven environment where educators and clinicians come together to achieve a common goal: helping learners with special needs grow, belong, and thrive in the long run.
- The unique opportunity to contribute to the establishment of a high-impact special education school that provides lasting social value for children, families, and the broader educational community in Vietnam.
Details regarding compensation and benefits will be shared during the interview process.
