Al Ain English Speaking School (AAESS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher who can also teach Physics and Chemistry up to KS4. This opportunity is set to begin in August 2026.

Role Overview:

We are in pursuit of an energetic, knowledgeable, and inspiring Science teacher to join our supportive and collaborative department.

The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, innovative, and high-quality Science lessons that ignite curiosity and a passion for scientific exploration. We are looking for a dynamic educator who can enhance students’ analytical thinking, practical skills, and conceptual understanding across the Sciences.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Biology across Key Stages 3–5
• Confidently instruct Physics and Chemistry up to Key Stage 4
• Conduct stimulating practical lessons that encourage inquiry and critical thinking
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE/iGCSE and A Level examinations
• Contribute positively to curriculum development and enrichment initiatives
• Maintain high expectations for both achievement and behavior
• Collaborate with a strong and supportive Science team
• Commit to ongoing professional development

The successful applicant will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related Science discipline
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
• Experience in teaching the British Curriculum
• Strong subject knowledge across the Sciences at KS3 and KS4
• Experience with GCSE/iGCSE (A Level Biology is advantageous)
• A commitment to raising standards and inspiring students
