Curriculum Overview:

Doha British School adheres to the National Curriculum of England, tailored to incorporate Qatar’s cultural and heritage aspects. Our institution offers a seamless educational experience from Early Years to Sixth Form, merging academic excellence with strong pastoral support and a focus on personal development.

The DBS curriculum across all stages is crafted to be relevant, enriching, and challenging, offering a blend of academic rigor along with leadership, creativity, and global citizenship.

Ideal candidates must possess:

A recognized educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.

A valid teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE must be backed by a subject-relevant bachelor’s degree).

At least two years of teaching experience (international experience is advantageous but not mandatory).

Outstanding subject expertise, with substantial experience in delivering the National Curriculum of England.

A strong enthusiasm for creating a student-centered learning environment.

A dedication to professional development and a collaborative teaching approach.

A demonstrated history of providing exceptional teaching and learning experiences.
