About This Role
Coruña British International School is an esteemed British international institution, the first in the city to receive accreditation from NABSS (National Association for British Schools in Spain). Our curriculum is fully endorsed by both the Galician Government and the British Council, positioning us, alongside our sister school in Vigo, as one of the premier British educational establishments in the Galicia region. Established over eight years ago, this forward-thinking school, rooted in strong family values, has provided the English National Curriculum to numerous students and has adapted to cater to the needs of contemporary learners. The school serves students aged three to 14, who follow the National English Early Years Framework and the English National Curriculum.
We are proud to be part of Globeducate British International Schools, a newly formed cluster within the Globeducate family that was established in 2021, uniting nine schools across Europe. Currently, Globeducate boasts a network of over 60 schools in 12 countries, serving more than 40,000 students daily.
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and dynamic French Teacher:
REQUIREMENTS
•
A Bachelor’s degree in French, Modern Foreign Languages, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
•
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent international teaching credential.
•
Demonstrated experience in teaching French at the primary and/or secondary level, preferably in a British or international school environment.
•
Fluency in French at a native or near-native level, accompanied by excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
•
A solid understanding of UK curriculum standards for Modern Foreign Languages (MFL).
•
Capability to create and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that facilitate language acquisition for learners of varying abilities.
•
Experience utilizing assessment for learning, monitoring student progress, and providing constructive feedback.
•
Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with readiness to undergo all necessary checks.
•
Outstanding classroom management skills and a positive, student-centered teaching approach.
•
Strong interpersonal abilities and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community.
