About This Role
IBDP Film Teacher (with Additional Teaching Area)
In line with Dwight School Hanoi’s commitment to igniting the spark of genius in each student, we are seeking a Film Teacher who will provide innovative, student-focused instruction rooted in the IB philosophy and the creative arts. The ideal candidate will teach IBDP Film and also enhance the academic offerings by teaching Theatre, English, Visual Art, TOK, or another subject area in which they have demonstrated expertise.
This position calls for an educator who values personalized learning, inquiry-based instruction, and the comprehensive development of students aged 11–18. At Dwight, teachers recognize that their influence goes beyond the classroom; they actively participate in the school community, support creative productions and events, cultivate meaningful relationships, and bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and flexibility to our formative years.
The contract is set to commence on July 1, with the expectation of arriving in Hanoi between late July and early August for induction and orientation. A general teacher job description has been made available for your reference.
