We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled High School Social Studies / Middle School ELL Teacher to become a part of our Social Sciences department. This role provides the chance to teach content aligned with a United States-based curriculum while assisting English Language Learners at the middle school level.
Position: HS Social Studies / Middle School ELL Teacher
Department: Social Sciences
Education Stage: High/Secondary School
Position Type: Full-time Teacher
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a closely related field (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with US curriculum standards
- In-depth knowledge of US history, government, geography, or other related social studies disciplines
- Experience working with English Language Learners (ELL), particularly at the middle school level
- Capability to tailor instruction for a variety of learners and facilitate language development alongside content understanding
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Proficiency in incorporating technology into classroom teaching
