Established in April 2007, the International School of Moscow was created in response to the needs expressed by the international community in Moscow. Since December 2017, ISM has been part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools.

Nord Anglia Education (NAE) is recognized as the world’s leading premium schools organization, with campuses located in numerous countries across the Americas, Europe, China, Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East. Collectively, our schools educate tens of thousands of students from kindergarten through secondary school. We are driven by a unified philosophy: we are ambitious for our schools, students, teachers, staff, and communities, inspiring every child who attends an NAE school to achieve more than they ever imagined.

Every parent desires the best for their child — and so do we. NAE schools offer high-quality, transformative education and ensure outstanding academic outcomes by going beyond traditional approaches to learning. Our global reach allows us to recruit and retain top-tier teachers and provide unforgettable experiences through global and regional events, all while fostering engaging learning environments that students look forward to.

Founded in 1972 in the United Kingdom, the name Nord Anglia reflects our origins in northern England. Initially, NAE offered services such as English-as-a-foreign-language classes and expanded during the 1980s by launching full-scale nurseries and kindergartens. In 1992, we opened our first international school, the British School of Warsaw. In the 2000s, we shifted our focus to premium international schools, rapidly expanding in Asia, the Americas, China, and across Europe and the Middle East. A truly international organization, NAE now operates premium international schools across the globe. In July 2019, we moved our headquarters from Hong Kong to London, positioning us for even stronger future growth.
