Al Jazeera Academy (Secondary School) is on the lookout for an inspiring Teacher of English to become part of our dedicated team at this thriving and developing institution.

English is a well-established subject here, with numerous students pursuing First Language IGCSE and AS English courses, even though it primarily serves as their second language. A solid understanding of effective strategies for EAL learners is crucial for this role. We also offer a vibrant array of extracurricular activities, including the highly regarded Qatar Debates.

Salary and benefits package:
• Competitive tax-free salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience

Paperwork Requirements:
Candidates must provide notarized and attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage certificates, and dependent birth certificates. Further details regarding documentation will be communicated. The selected candidate will need to provide a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) before employment confirmation. Applicants from outside the DBS jurisdiction must submit an approved certificate from a similar authority in their current country of residence.
