3. Exhibit strong subject and curriculum expertise.

• Craft learning experiences that reinforce concepts, ignite curiosity, and challenge students.

• Design and conduct engaging lessons that cater to diverse learner needs, featuring clear targets, constructive feedback, and evidence-based strategies to promote progress.

• Foster positive relationships within the classroom and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent, student-centered approach that supports both academic and emotional well-being.

5. Tailor teaching to address the strengths and needs of students.

• Work with students to establish clear, meaningful goals and adjust lessons to suit individual requirements using a variety of strategies such as differentiation, questioning, active learning, and technology.

• Utilize assessment, feedback, and reflection to inform teaching practices, support progress, and create an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and challenged.

6. Utilize assessment effectively and productively.

• Regularly assess student learning through diverse methods, offering clear feedback to facilitate improvement and growth.

• Consistently leverage assessment data to guide teaching, influence planning, and ensure all students reach their full potential.

7. Maintain quality of provision.

• Communicate effectively with parents by providing clear feedback and guidance.

• Prepare and use resources that align with student needs, engaging support staff in lesson planning and instruction.

• Manage time efficiently and carry out academic reporting diligently through updates, reports, and parent meetings to provide an accurate representation of student progress.
