We are currently seeking applications from passionate and skilled English Teachers to join our outstanding team starting in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
•
Provide high-quality, inclusive instruction that addresses the diverse learning needs of students within both the IB and British curriculum frameworks.
•
Work collaboratively with subject teachers to create and execute strategies that facilitate access, progression, and success for all learners.
•
Leverage data effectively to track student progress and devise targeted interventions.
•
Cultivate a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that aligns with the IB Learner Profile and GEMS Core Values.
•
Play an active role in advancing inclusive practices throughout the secondary school, fostering equity and understanding among both students and staff.
•
Engage with parents and the broader school community to promote a holistic approach to student support.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
•
A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or an initial degree along with a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE/state teaching license or equivalent) specializing in English.
•
Advanced qualifications in English are preferred but not mandatory.
•
A minimum of three years’ experience teaching Secondary English, preferably within an IB or British curriculum environment (not essential).
•
A strong grasp of the IB philosophy and Approaches to Teaching and Learning.
•
Demonstrated ability to inspire, support, and motivate students to reach their full potential.
•
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
•
Availability to commence in August 2026.
