We are currently in search of an enthusiastic and highly qualified Geography Teacher to become part of our Senior School. The successful applicant will create dynamic, concept-focused lessons that foster a robust understanding of geography, analytical reasoning, and global consciousness. Deliver captivating and well-organized Geography lessons that cultivate strong geographical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and an understanding of global issues.
•
Design and execute high-quality schemes of work that align with the Cambridge curriculum and the standards of the school.
•
Evaluate, track, and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to facilitate academic growth.
•
Establish an inclusive, supportive, and inspiring learning environment that challenges and motivates all students.
•
Incorporate digital tools and resources to enhance learning, research, and geographical exploration.
•
Contribute to the pastoral care of students, promoting their overall well-being.
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues to exchange best practices and ensure curriculum consistency.
•
Engage in school events, field trips, clubs, and enrichment activities, becoming an integral part of the wider school community.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A recognized teaching qualification along with a degree in Geography or a closely related discipline.
•
Strong subject expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for Geography and global education.
•
Demonstrated excellent classroom practice with the ability to support and challenge students across all abilities.
•
Effective organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high academic standards.
•
A positive, adaptable mindset and a willingness to embrace innovation and ongoing professional development.
•
Experience with Cambridge programs or international curricula is highly desirable.
