About the role
We are seeking a committed Teacher of Science to become part of Ballakermeen High School’s highly regarded Science Department. While a specialization in Chemistry is preferred, it is not mandatory. In 2025, our Science team celebrated their best-ever GCSE and A-level outcomes, with a remarkable 78% A*-C at GCSE and an average of 74% A*-B at A2. Although we take pride in these achievements, our focus remains on continuous enhancement.
At Ballakermeen, we recognize the value of every learning moment. We maintain high expectations while fostering a warm, inviting, and friendly learning atmosphere.
Your professional growth matters to us, and all staff members benefit from a research-informed Professional Development program conducted throughout the academic year.
We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and seasoned educators.
