About This Role

About this Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of German to join our successful Modern Foreign Languages team at Chatham Grammar. This role will focus on delivering engaging and inspiring German lessons, helping students develop confidence and proficiency in speaking, listening, reading and writing. The ability to teach French would be beneficial and would provide additional flexibility within the department.

Whether you are an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner looking for your next challenge, you will find a supportive environment where professional growth is valued and encouraged. At Chatham Grammar, we believe great teaching changes lives, and we are committed to creating the conditions for teachers to do what they do best: inspire young people and help them succeed.

As a member of our Modern Foreign Languages team, you will deliver high-quality lessons that challenge, engage and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate. You will foster a love of languages and cultures, encouraging students to develop their communication skills, curiosity and confidence in a global society. Working alongside dedicated colleagues, you will play an important role in the continued development of the department and contribute to the wider life of the school. Most importantly, you will be a positive role model who inspires students to achieve their full potential and develop a lifelong appreciation of language learning. The role aligns with the Trust's expectations for high-quality teaching, positive relationships and strong student outcomes.
