Mathematics Teacher

Avenor College is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Mathematics to join our faculty, teaching Mathematics from KS3 through to A Level. We encourage qualified Mathematics educators to apply, including Early Career Teachers interested in participating in our ECT programme.

At the A Level, students will engage with the CAIE 9709 curriculum after completing the CAIE 0580 Mathematics syllabus. Our Key Stage 3 program includes a specialized Romanian national strand for a select group of students, while the majority follow the Cambridge checkpoint, culminating in an external examination at the end of Grade 8. The effectiveness of our Mathematics learning program is evident in students’ performance results and other indicators.

• Strong and adaptable subject expertise to teach Mathematics across Middle School, IGCSE, and A Level effectively;

• Contributions to curriculum improvement through the updating of schemes of work and the development of conceptually driven lesson plans;
• Proficiency in English;
