4.1 Quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment (TLA)
· Foster a culture where the quality of TLA consistently progresses towards Outstanding throughout the school.
· Ensure that effective assessment practices enhance teaching and learning, resulting in improved student outcomes.
4.2 Quality Assurance
· Implement robust self-evaluation and Quality Assurance (QA) systems across the institution.
· Supervise the development of all sections of the Self Evaluation Form (SEF) pertaining to TLA.
· Formulate improvement plans based on both internal and external evaluations relevant to TLA quality.
· Provide reports to the Senior Team and Local Advisory Board (LAB) concerning TLA quality and the execution of improvement initiatives.
4.3 Staff Development
· Address development areas identified through QA systems with targeted staff training.
· Direct the induction program for new educators.
4.4 Student Outcomes
· Ensure that high-quality TLA results in enhanced student outcomes, including academic success and the cultivation of essential skills and attributes.
· Lead the examinations and data teams to create efficient systems that contribute to improved academic results.
· Update the Senior Team and LAB on student progress across all Key Stages and take necessary action for enhancements.
· Offer appropriate advice and support to students as they approach their board examinations.
· Guarantee that examinations and other assessments are conducted seamlessly for all students.
4.5 Policies and Procedures
Qualifications: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in any core subject. Qualified Teacher Status required.
Experience: Background as a subject Head of Department or demonstrated experience in guiding teaching, learning, and assessments in a multicultural educational setting.
