About This Role

ENGAGEMENT AND INTERACTION – SCHOOL AMBASSADOR TO INTERNAL COMMUNITY
▪ Foster trust and confidence among students, staff, and parents;
▪ Inspire and engage students to maximize their potential;
▪ Assemble a cohesive teaching team and cultivate an environment where they can thrive;
▪ Consistently seek to enhance the quality of student learning;
▪ Utilize student tracking and monitoring systems to promote learning and improve professional practices in alignment with the school's goals and priorities;
▪ Play a key role in school improvement and development planning while advocating for the learning objectives outlined in the school development plan;
▪ Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department or faculty;
▪ Create and manage resources that facilitate high-quality learning experiences for students;
▪ Uphold and promote the broader aspirations and values of the school.

PLANNING, PREPARATION AND TEACHING
▪ Facilitate student achievement by:
▪ Designing effective teaching programs that offer exceptional learning experiences inside and outside the classroom;
▪ Implementing the integrated arts curriculum developed in partnership with The Juilliard School;
▪ Actively addressing and supporting individual learning requirements;
▪ Maintaining high standards of behavior and discipline;
▪ Utilizing homework and supplementary learning opportunities effectively;
▪ Establishing a safe and purposeful educational environment;
▪ Leveraging modern technology to enrich learning experiences;
▪ Utilizing the Nord Anglia Education Global Campus online resources;
▪ Employing formative and summative assessments to create challenging learning opportunities for all students;
▪ Monitoring and documenting student progress to ensure they are on track to meet ambitious targets;
▪ Reporting on student progress to relevant stakeholders.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
▪ Contribute to the overall school community beyond academic settings;
▪ Lead one or more designated after-school activities each week;
▪ Participate in residential trips and other excursions as needed;
▪ Engage in school-wide learning initiatives throughout the term;
▪ Assist with and supervise all school productions.

LEADERSHIP
▪ Coach, mentor, and help develop subject teachers to reach their full potential;
▪ Establish meaningful accountability for outcomes;
▪ Serve as an exemplary role model;
▪ Drive transformative change within the faculty;
▪ Oversee the provision of peripatetic music, dance, and drama teachers.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
*Estimated range based on regional data averages.
