Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Art/DT degree or equivalent academic qualification

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art and DT
• Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Effective classroom management skills
• Competence in using data to track and improve student progress
• High expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
• Experience of marking for examination boards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Working with children across the age and ability range appropriate to the role
• Previous experience teaching maths in a school setting
