Deputy Head of Year (non teaching)

We require an organised and proactive individual to join our at the WSE. We are particularly looking for someone who is passionate about supporting our students welfare, to enable them to achieve their academic and personal potential. You will need the ability to manage a varied and sometimes unpredictable day. A calm approach and a good sense of humour are also essential. We particularly welcome applications from people with previous experience of working with vulnerable young people.

Experience of working within an education provision would be an advantage.

This is a rewarding role, providing the opportunity to help and support students across our Academy and

contribute to the WSE vision of enabling every student to be the best they can be.

You will join an enthusiastic, forward thinking and supportive team in an innovative environment.

This position is:

• Permanent
• 35 hours per week, with an 8am start time.
• Term time only (39 weeks per year).
• Salary: MLP Grade F, FTE salary £28,154Pro rata salary £22,907
• Closing date: 9.00am Friday 27th November.
• Start date: as soon as possible.
