The British International School, Phuket, is a premier international day and boarding institution (ages 2 - 18) dedicated to providing exceptional education to the international community in the Asia/Pacific region.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our well-established and thriving Department. This role will involve teaching Biology throughout the Secondary school and general KS3 Science. The ability to instruct IBDP Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) is a valuable asset.

The following qualifications and qualities are required:

  • A genuine passion and commitment to nurturing the holistic development of each student.
  • A bachelor’s degree related to the teaching specialty, along with qualified teacher status or its equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in your specialized subject(s).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation abilities.
  • A dedicated approach to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • A readiness to exceed the responsibilities outlined in this job description to energize and inspire our school community.
