Broadoak Academy is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Principal (Behaviour and Culture). This is a key role in shaping and delivering an ambitious whole-school vision for inclusion, ensuring every student experiences equity, belonging and the opportunity to succeed.

Within this role you will help lead the academy’s whole-school positive behaviour approach, ensuring that all students are supported to achieve positive social, emotional and behavioural outcomes. This will include developing and embedding our Behaviour and Culture beliefs, establishing clear and effective behaviour policies with consistent and predictable responses, and ensuring that high expectations, routines and protocols are understood and upheld by both students and staff across pastoral time, lessons, break and lunch.

You will monitor and evaluate the quality of pastoral support and the teaching of our social, emotional and behaviour curriculum, identifying and implementing strategies for continual improvement. You will lead the evaluation of whole-school behaviour standards, ensuring a calm, orderly and purposeful environment, promoting positive attitudes to learning, and overseeing the effective deployment of Behaviour Support Officers to further strengthen student behaviour and engagement.
