Contract Term

1-year, renewable for a 2-year term

• Renewal is contingent upon successful evaluation and mutual agreement.

The initial contract for this role begins in June 2026 and extends through August 2027. This contract period serves as part of the candidate's probationary phase and may be renewed based on a positive evaluation.

SPAS prefers in-person interviews for this position and will only contact candidates who either hold F-Visa status in South Korea or possess Korean Citizenship. The interview process will commence as applications are received, either virtually via GoogleMeet with the School Principal and General Manager or, ideally, in person. The position will remain open until filled.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in AP Science roles or similar positions
• Experience teaching adolescents
• Prior participation in accreditation cycles
• Familiarity with Next Generation Science Standards
• Demonstrated history of academic leadership
• Expertise in AP/PreAP, standards-based instructional planning and assessment, and data implementation using TELL, MAP, WIDA for administrative support and teacher training
• High digital literacy and proficiency with Google-based platforms, including Canva
• Comfortable with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Information Systems (SIS)
• Experience with PowerSchool is preferred
