About the Admissions Department

The Admissions Team handles the admissions process for students entering the school from years 7-11, managing everything from initial inquiries to student enrollment. In collaboration with the Admissions Manager, you will serve as the primary contact for admissions-related questions. This position involves regular communication with parents/carers and local stakeholders, emphasizing fairness and compliance in accordance with the Admissions Code.

About You

We are seeking a flexible, highly effective, and organized Admissions Officer to assist the Admissions Manager with the Year 7 intake and in-year admissions for years 7-11.

Your core responsibilities will include overseeing the daily processing of applications for both the Year 7 intake and in-year admissions, handling inquiries via phone and email, and supporting admissions events and operational activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, updating the Applicaa admissions system, and managing the admissions section of the school website.

Candidates should have prior experience in admissions administration and familiarity with a school environment. A strong understanding of internal and external customer service is essential. The ideal applicant will possess excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and Word at an intermediate level. While a Level 3 qualification is desirable, it is not mandatory. Knowledge of safeguarding requirements for working with children and familiarity with SIMS or other school systems would be advantageous but is not required.
