About This Role

This position is ideal for teachers trained in the UK who possess recent experience in schools following the British curriculum.

Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of Key Stage 2 and have a proven history of success within a British educational setting.

The School:

Sharjah English School (SES) is a small, inclusive, non-profit institution located on a spacious and appealing campus near Dubai. We are a well-established co-educational school providing the National Curriculum to 1,100 students, ranging from Foundation to A Level. While we cater primarily to the local British expatriate community, our student body includes individuals from various nationalities. SES is accredited as a British School Overseas and by British Schools of the Middle East. We offer an exceptional learning environment that fosters curiosity, sparks imagination, and promotes independence. The Role: Class Teacher - Key Stage Two

We are looking for a dedicated teacher to join our enthusiastic team in August 2026. The ideal candidate will be able to provide outstanding teaching and learning experiences that motivate and engage Key Stage Two students, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Personal Specifications:

● Qualified teacher with at least two years of teaching experience

● Competent in using ICT effectively

● Familiarity with innovative educational practices and ideas

● Comprehensive and current knowledge of the English National Curriculum

● Strong personal presence with excellent interpersonal skills

● Thorough understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and procedures

The successful candidate must possess the following:

● A B.Ed or BA degree in a core Primary subject with a PGCE

● A demonstrated ability to create a caring and supportive environment

● A passionate commitment to the well-being and academic and social development of each student

● Experience that will contribute significantly to the broader life of the school

Compensation

AED 11,000 - AED 16,000 per month (Competitive tax free Salary with Benefits)
