Ruamrudee International School Phuket (RISP) is on the lookout for a committed and enthusiastic Math Teacher to become a part of our Mathematics & Science Department. The ideal candidate will provide engaging and high-quality math instruction to students in elementary and middle school, promoting a strong understanding of concepts and a passion for learning.
This position entails crafting hands-on, differentiated lesson plans, evaluating student progress, and aiding in the ongoing enhancement of the math curriculum. Teachers are expected to foster an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere, effectively incorporate technology into their teaching, and engage in continuous professional development.
The teaching schedule includes up to 25 teaching blocks per week. Additional homeroom duties may involve acting as the main contact for students and parents, as well as supporting students’ social and emotional health.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Valid teaching certification/license
• Experience in teaching elementary mathematics
• Strong understanding of curriculum standards
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in educational technology
