The ideal candidate will be deeply passionate about Mathematics, align with the school’s vision, and possess the ability to inspire, support, and motivate students.

What Will Your Daily Responsibilities Be?

The successful applicant will:

• Bring experience in teaching Mathematics at the senior school level, with a strong preference for those with IB MYP & DP and IGCSE experience.

• Have a solid grasp of the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and curriculum guidelines.

• Collaborate in the design of curriculum, including the creation of concept-driven units of inquiry paired with authentic assessment tasks.

• Tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of students across varying levels.

• Implement a constructivist approach to education, promoting independent learning.

• Encourage international-mindedness and incorporate service learning into the curriculum.

• Exhibit exceptional organizational skills.

• Be approachable and visible, demonstrating excellent interpersonal abilities coupled with a good sense of humor.

• Show flexibility, creativity, and resilience in the classroom.

• Work cooperatively within a team to enhance the development of the broader school community.

• Teach additional related subjects as necessary, based on departmental needs and personal expertise.

What Qualifications Should You Have?

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) and Diploma Programme (IB DP).

• Valuable experience with IGCSE.

• A background in teaching Mathematics throughout the entire senior school.

• A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field along with a teaching qualification.

• Relevant international teaching experience.

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

• Preferred: Willingness or experience in teaching additional related subjects such as Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, etc.

• A dedication to ongoing learning and keeping abreast of current educational research.

• The ability to inspire, challenge, and empower students.

• Creativity, compassion, and a strong commitment to positively impacting students' educational experiences.
