Job Description:
The Computer Science Coordinator will play a vital role in delivering dynamic and effective instruction in IB DP Computer Science, overseeing curriculum development within the department, supporting students’ academic advancement, and collaborating with colleagues to enrich the overall learning experience. The ideal candidate will possess robust subject expertise, exceptional organizational abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for promoting student achievement in computer science.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school environments
- Preferred experience in teaching or coordinating within the IB Diploma Programme
- Comprehensive understanding of computer science principles, including programming, algorithms, data structures, systems architecture, and software development fundamentals
- Capability to create lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while engaging a diverse range of learners
- Outstanding communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff
- Proficiency in educational technology tools relevant to computer science education
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to efficiently coordinate departmental initiatives
