On Call Cover Senior School Teacher (Living in AMS & Eligible to work in NL)

We are in search of a qualified cover teacher to provide support in various senior school classes, with the flexibility to respond to on-call opportunities as they arise.

Teaching Staff:

We are looking for dedicated professionals who have a background in delivering a concept-driven, inquiry-based curriculum, ideally with experience in the International Baccalaureate. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Middle School education and the skills to deliver high-quality education consistent with the School’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

The successful candidate will:

Have experience with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) or a similar inquiry-based curriculum

Collaborate on the design and development of the curriculum

Engage students across different levels

Exhibit a commitment to high standards, a keen interest in constructivist learning approaches, and enthusiasm for fostering international understanding

Be an innovative thinker dedicated to continuous learning and current educational research

Serve as an inspiring, challenging, and empowering educational motivator

Maintain visibility and approachability, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and possess a good sense of humor

Demonstrate flexibility, creativity, and resilience

Reside in Amsterdam and be eligible to work in The Netherlands

Candidate Requirements:

B.A. Degree in Education or a relevant degree or teaching qualification

International teaching experience

Fluency in English (both verbal and written)

A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
