Sage College – The British International School of Jerez is on the lookout for a Boarding Graduate Assistant (with Performance Sports Responsibilities) to be part of our international boarding and High Performance Sports Programme starting January 2026.
This dynamic residential position integrates boarding life with pastoral care and participation in our elite training environment, providing invaluable experience for those aiming for careers in coaching, PE education, sports science, or boarding education.
The role includes:
• Supporting the daily lives, wellbeing, and personal growth of boarding students aged 11–18.
• Overseeing routines, meals, study sessions, enrichment activities, and weekend events on a rotational basis.
• Assisting coaching and performance staff with training sessions, fitness activities, fixtures, and travel logistics related to your sports experience.
• Engaging in excursions, trips, and community events within a vibrant international boarding house.
• Acting as a positive and dependable role model for students in all facets of school and boarding life.
The ideal candidate will:
• Possess a completed university degree (any field; degrees in sport or education are advantageous).
• Have experience in competitive sports, coaching, or youth development.
• Exhibit enthusiasm, approachability, and responsibility, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Be fluent in English (the school's primary language).
• Hold EU work eligibility (EU passport or valid right to work/TIE in Spain).
• Be dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare.
• Spanish language skills are beneficial but not required.
