About This Role

About the opportunity to join Claremont Primary and Nursery School

We’re Looking for an Experienced and Committed Deputy
Headteacher

Claremont Primary and Nursery School is looking to
appoint a passionate and dedicated Deputy Headteacher to join our friendly and
forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real
difference in a school that celebrates its diverse community and puts children
at the heart of everything we do.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a leader
who is reflective, collaborative and determined to make a meaningful
difference. You will be joining a supportive senior leadership team where your
ideas, expertise and vision will be valued and encouraged.

Why Join Claremont?

Claremont is a vibrant, inclusive school serving
the diverse communities of Carrington and Forest Fields. Our pupils bring
energy, enthusiasm, and a love of learning — and we’re proud of the strong
relationships we’ve built with our families and wider community.

We were last inspected by Ofsted in December 2022 and judged Good, with particular strengths noted
in our learning environment and pastoral care.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proven track record of improving behaviour and culture across a school.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and experience acting as DSL/Deputy DSL.
  • The ability to analyse data and respond strategically.
  • High expectations for pupils and unwavering commitment to inclusion.
  • Excellent communication, relational and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to lead with clarity, empathy and professional integrity.
  • Experience of coaching and developing staff.
  • The capacity to maintain calm, organised systems in a busy environment
