Teacher of Science
About This Role
Based in St Austell, Cornwall, and part of Cornwall Education Learning Trust, Penrice combines high expectations with a welcoming, caring school community. Our values of Pride, Respect and Success underpin school life, and our February 2025 Ofsted inspection recognised outstanding provision across all inspection areas.
We are looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge, a commitment to inclusive teaching and the ability to bring science to life. You will help learners build secure foundations across biology, chemistry and physics, developing their confidence through purposeful practical work and challenging questions.
Science sits at the heart of our ambitious curriculum, with Combined and Triple Science pathways and opportunities such as our Future Medics programme helping learners explore where science could take them.
If you share our ambition for young people and want to contribute to the Penrice community, we would love to hear from you.
