Founded in 2014, GEMS FirstPoint School is a distinguished British Curriculum institution located in the lively Villa community of Dubai. The school currently serves around 2,000 students from Nursery (age 2) through Year 13, with exciting plans for future expansion.

FPS takes pride in its inclusive, values-driven environment, hosting a diverse student body that represents over 90 nationalities. Our campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a dedicated sports and performing arts center, swimming pools, a theater, a sports hall, and specialized rooms for dance, drama, and music. Furthermore, we provide fully equipped science laboratories, computer suites, a food technology kitchen, textiles and design suites, and workshops for Design Technology.

Our curriculum is comprehensive and well-balanced, enriched with outstanding co-curricular opportunities, ensuring that every student can achieve their potential and enjoy personal success. Students benefit from studying internationally recognized A Levels, GCSEs, and BTECs, while teachers have access to extensive professional development opportunities. Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a related discipline.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven effectiveness in the classroom with a strong ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and personalized learning approaches.
  • Willingness to contribute to the broader school community and promote a culture of professional learning.
