About This Role
Beginning in September 2026, we are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Physical Education to become a valuable member of our college community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching A Level Physical Education.
The chosen candidate will join a distinguished department known for its high standards and productivity. In 2025, our GCSE results were remarkable, with 100% of students achieving grades 9-5. At the A-Level, we also celebrated an impressive 80% of students earning grades A*-C.
For the right candidate, there is the potential for an additional responsibility allowance for managing Post-16 A Level programs.
The opportunities offered by Physical Education are fundamental to our school's ethos. As such, this role is crucial for the continued development of Jumeirah College.
Applicants should hold a B.Ed. or a degree combined with a PGCE/PGDE or an equivalent qualification, showcasing exceptional subject knowledge.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience with the National Curriculum for England is required.

Experience in teaching A Level Physical Education is a must. We are looking for a skilled, motivated, and well-qualified professional with a proven track record of exemplary teaching and learning, as well as a comprehensive understanding of Anatomy, Physiology, and Exercise Physiology.
