The School
Cheltenham Muscat, which opened its doors in September 2021, is Oman’s first premium British school catering to students aged 3 to 18. Located on an impressive, state-of-the-art campus, both students and faculty at Cheltenham Muscat benefit from world-class facilities for academic and co-curricular pursuits, supported by our partner institution, Cheltenham College, celebrated for over 180 years of exceptional educational excellence.
The Person
We are in search of a highly qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our growing Physical Education (PE) department. The successful candidate will be a lively, dedicated educator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Duties will encompass teaching PE to various year groups, with specific assignments determined by the skills and experience of the selected individual.
The chosen candidate will also be tasked with embedding the values of Cheltenham Muscat into their teaching, fostering the development of well-rounded and principled young adults. A strong grasp of sports and the ability to engage students through both theoretical and practical teaching strategies tailored to their individual needs is essential.
Experience with the UK National Curriculum is a must, along with the capability to inspire and motivate students while maintaining high academic standards.
All staff members are expected to take part in pastoral care within the school community, usually serving as form tutors or co-tutors, as well as contributing to the extracurricular programs available.
Please be advised that applicants must have a minimum of three full years of relevant teaching experience to qualify for a work permit to teach in Oman.

- Adhere to school protocols for assessing, recording, and reporting student achievements, effectively utilizing this data in reports and record-keeping.
