About This Role

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opening for a Teacher of Mathematics to join our accomplished school starting in September 2026. This role is ideal for an individual with a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, who can inspire and engage students effectively. We encourage applications from teachers capable of delivering Mathematics at KS3/4, and ideally at KS5 as well.

Regardless of your level of experience, you will become part of a dedicated team of educators passionate about teaching Mathematics in innovative and captivating ways. There is an opportunity for a qualified individual to assume additional responsibilities, though this is not a requirement; we warmly invite applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and those who are not seeking further responsibilities, alongside more seasoned professionals.

At Ashlawn School, we prioritize ensuring that every teacher feels respected, heard, and well-mentored, providing ample opportunities for professional growth.

Our mission is to empower all students to reach their full potential both academically and personally, irrespective of their abilities or disabilities. We strive to enhance awareness throughout the school and the community regarding the significance of quality and equitable opportunities for all students and are dedicated to delivering an inclusive curriculum tailored to individual needs, fostering positive achievements and independence for everyone.

- Work alongside a community of passionate and committed colleagues who genuinely support one another.
- A staff wellbeing team that implements diverse strategies to enhance staff engagement, including various activities, events, conferences, and numerous other benefits.
- Excellent opportunities for professional development within the successful and expanding Transforming Lives Educational Trust, a growing Multi-academy Trust rooted in the local community.

At Ashlawn School, every individual matters. Both staff and students speak highly of the vibrant culture and mutual support within our community. Our primary goal is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive and evolve into lifelong learners who are engaged with the world around them, preparing to become resilient, caring, disciplined, well-educated, and employable adults.

If you are eager to join a dynamic team, contribute to our high standards, and maintain high aspirations for young people, Ashlawn School is the perfect place for you!

We encourage visits to Ashlawn prior to applying because we take pride in the fact that:
