About This Role
The Role
The Mathematics Teacher is tasked with ensuring the highest level of student achievement in the subject for those they instruct. This is achieved through diligent monitoring, evaluation, and assessment of both learning progress and teaching effectiveness, alongside establishing improvement targets.
The Mathematics Teacher is expected to fully embrace the core values of DBS and recognize the equal importance of academic instruction, pastoral care, and co-curricular activities within the educational framework. This position reports directly to the Head of Mathematics.
Remuneration
The selected candidate will be offered an attractive salary and benefits package that reflects their experience. This includes:
- A competitive salary.
- On-site accommodation for the first year of the contract if recruited from abroad, with the option to transition to off-site housing and receive a housing allowance starting in the second year.
- Return flights at the beginning and end of the contract for the candidate, spouse, and children.
- An annual flight allowance for the candidate's spouse and children.
- Medical insurance coverage for the candidate, spouse, and children.
- Full tuition fee coverage for up to two children, or three for teaching couples (with 50% coverage for additional children).
- A gratuity at the end of the contract.
