One of our motivated and dedicated junior teachers is leaving us to travel abroad. This presents an opportunity for a passionate teacher to join our Te Kakano (Year 1-2) team.

Gordonton School is a beautiful rural school of 242 children about 15 mins NE of Hamilton. We are well connected to a diverse dairying community, Ngati Wairere as well as 2 early learning centres. We have an active and collaborative Board and staff and our every action is designed to meet the needs of our learners. Our school is anchored in MANA.

Key Responsibilities
- Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
- Subjects include: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts
Qualifications
- Certificated teacher
- Experience in LLL literacy teaching and the new maths curriculum
