Role Overview:
We are eager to welcome a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to our motivated team at Horizon International School. The ideal candidate will create engaging, high-quality lessons that ignite a passion for learning while encouraging all students to reach their full potential. This role, integral to our inclusive and collaborative school community, involves the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons that emphasize critical thinking, engagement, and challenge for every learner. The teacher will also build strong relationships with parents and colleagues to support student learning and contribute to the dynamic extracurricular life of the school by leading or assisting in activities that enhance the student experience.
Skills, Experience & Responsibilities:
- Passionate about teaching and dedicated to inspiring and challenging all learners
- Strong subject knowledge to design and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Expertise in crafting lessons that promote deep thinking and active engagement in learning
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of an inclusive student body
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- Reflective and proactive in their practice, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth
- Capable of managing time and workload effectively, demonstrating resilience and enthusiasm in a dynamic school setting

Successful candidates will possess:
• A Bachelor of Education or PGCE with a relevant specialization
• Experience teaching within a UK environment or a recognized British Curriculum / international school
• Proven teaching experience
