  • Integrate technology and innovative strategies to enrich learning experiences.
  • Evaluate student progress using a variety of authentic assessment methods, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cohesive units and engage in continuous curriculum development.
  • Actively participate in the school’s co-curricular and community programs to enhance holistic learning.

Skills:

Successful candidates will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or a relevant subject area with a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE/state teaching license or equivalent) in English language/literature or a Bachelor of Arts in English.
  • Proven experience teaching High School English, preferably within an American or IB curriculum setting (though this is not essential).
  • A demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and support students through engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a collaborative and reflective mindset.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture.
