About the Programme:

The Vinschool Advanced (Cambridge) Programme is a bilingual initiative that combines the Vinschool Education System, the Vietnamese national curriculum, and the Cambridge International Programmes.

What we are looking for:

Vinschool is seeking passionate and experienced certified teachers to join our international team. The successful applicants will teach the Cambridge Psychology & Sociology Programme, adhering to the Cambridge International Curriculum Framework. Candidates should possess the necessary qualifications and experience, along with a strong commitment to guiding students in both academic and extracurricular pursuits.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum framework, with a teaching load of up to 20 hours weekly.
  • Create curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials; manage and update information on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
  • Assess and monitor student academic performance; provide timely feedback and support.
  • Maintain and update student academic records, including timely entry of test results into the school's systems and the preparation of student progress reports.
  • Establish and uphold classroom expectations; supervise student behavior and social development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
  • Design and implement remedial programs for students requiring additional support.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
  • Organize and engage in extracurricular activities, such as clubs and academic competitions.
  • Oversee students during non-classroom periods, including hall duty, morning gate duty, and any other supervisory responsibilities assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal.
  • While primary teaching responsibilities will focus on their subject area, teachers may also be assigned a second subject within their expertise to support the school's program.
  • Perform homeroom teacher duties as assigned, including monitoring attendance, providing pastoral care, and communicating with parents; an allowance is provided for this role.
  • Undertake additional professional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal, Vice Principal, or Lead Teacher.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field of education.
  • A professional teaching qualification/license/certification as applicable.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience in a formal school setting.
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum is beneficial but not required.

Language Proficiency:

  • Proficient in English (minimum C1 fluency).

Soft Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong capabilities in presenting information clearly and effectively.
