GEMS Royal Dubai School is an energetic, premium British curriculum institution, currently serving students from FS1 to Year 8. Beginning in September 2026, we will extend our offerings to include Year 9 as we embark on an exciting journey to become a complete through school up to Year 13.

As part of our expansion, we are thrilled to announce the opening of a brand new, purpose-built secondary campus in September 2026, featuring state-of-the-art facilities across two locations.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Primary Science Leader to become a member of our Middle Leadership Team. This is a remarkable opportunity for a driven and passionate educator to significantly influence the future of Science in our school, while enhancing our high-performing and collaborative culture.
The role
As the Primary Science Leader, you will spearhead Science education across EYFS and Primary as a subject expert, delivering an exceptional, dynamic, and engaging learning experience that drives outstanding student outcomes. This position includes a teaching commitment within either EYFS or Primary.
You will motivate both students and colleagues, fostering innovation, inquiry-based learning, and a passion for Science, while upholding and enhancing our #RoyalStandard.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the enhancement of Science across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 in accordance with the National Curriculum for England
• Promoting high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring excellent progress and outcomes for every student
• Further advancing the use of science laboratories and resources to facilitate high-quality investigations, experiments, and STEAM opportunities
• Effectively utilizing data to inform planning, personalize learning, and optimize student progress
• Contributing to overall school improvement through collaboration, including MER documentation and exemplifying best practices
• Demonstrating a high-performance mindset, with a reflective and solution-oriented approach
• Supporting the safeguarding, well-being, and personal development of all students
• Cultivating strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents
• Engaging in the broader life of the school, including extracurricular activities and community events
• Actively participating in ongoing professional development as both a teacher and a leader
About you
