The opportunity
We are seeking to hire a Primary Physical Education Teacher who can utilize diverse teaching strategies to inspire, motivate, and engage our students in their learning journey. Our energetic department, enhanced by exceptional facilities, provides the perfect setting for cultivating a passion for sports and physical education among our pupils.
About you
As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad spectrum of Physical Education activities from EYFS to Year 6, which includes swimming, games, athletics, fundamental movement skills, gymnastics, and dance. Candidates should focus on making PE lessons enjoyable and meaningful for all students, fostering confidence, skill, creativity, and an understanding of the significance of an active, healthy lifestyle for overall well-being. A qualified teacher status with a specialization in Physical Education is required, along with a recognized swimming teaching and pool safety qualification (such as ASA, STA, or equivalent) and experience in leading Primary swimming lessons, ranging from learn-to-swim to competitive swimming for KS2.
As a British international school, all instruction is conducted in English, so a high level of written and spoken English is essential. Applicants should be prepared to positively contribute to all facets of the school’s vision, including co-curricular activities.
