Primary Assistant Teacher
About This Role
The Primary Department at the English International College is seeking a teaching assistant who can inspire, motivate, and support students in achieving their full potential.
We are in search of a committed individual to assist in the educational and social development of students under the supervision of the Senior Leadership Team and classroom educators. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with small groups in the classroom and actively engage in weekly planning meetings. Furthermore, the successful candidate must maintain student engagement and focus during lessons or activities, promoting their independence as learners. A proactive approach and the capability to take initiative in various tasks are crucial.
Applicants should hold a relevant qualification and have experience in supporting phonics groups, emergent writing, and utilizing CPA methods in Mathematics.
You should be ready to collaborate effectively within a team and be open to handling administrative duties in addition to classroom support.
