Our curriculum aligns with the national curriculum of England, providing Cambridge & Pearson qualifications at the secondary level, including IGCSEs, A Levels, and BTECs.

Our main campus at Chaofah serves 1000 students and is oversubscribed in most year groups. In August 2028, we will enhance our Upper School facilities and offerings to establish 'HeadStart College' as the premier educational institution in Southern Thailand.

In August 2023, we launched a new campus in the northern region of the island, Cherngtalay. Initially a one-form Foundation and Primary school, our Cherngtalay Campus has expanded to accommodate a three-form entry for Foundation, Primary, and Secondary School (KS3 only), serving up to 500 students.

Physics Teacher

As we expand our Upper School facilities and programs for Sixth Form and Key Stage 4, we are looking for an energetic and passionate Physics Teacher to join our faculty starting in August 2026. The ideal applicant will have experience teaching across the secondary age range, including A Level Physics. This position involves teaching A-Level and IGCSE Physics, as well as Key Stage 3 Science, which includes Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (Years 7–9), as part of the departmental curriculum.

We seek an inspiring educator capable of making the subject engaging and accessible. Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level syllabus is advantageous.

We value a committed team player who brings enthusiasm, energy, and a genuine passion for teaching that fosters a love of learning among students. A good sense of humor and a strong work ethic are essential qualities.

Requirements / Application Information

Essential Qualifications:

· In-depth knowledge of the UK curriculum and experience teaching students at all educational levels

· Strong understanding of IGCSE & A Level Physics assessment criteria

· Proven success in teaching

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

· A recognized teaching qualification: BEd; PGCE; iPGCE or equivalent

· Proficiency in English

Desirable Qualifications (not mandatory):

· Experience working in an International School environment

· Experience teaching students for whom English is an Additional Language.
