PE Teacher cum Lifeguard

The position of Lifeguard & PE Teacher encompasses two vital roles aimed at ensuring student safety during aquatic activities while also providing engaging physical education lessons throughout the K–12 curriculum. This role aligns with the school's objective of fostering health, fitness, and overall well-being for students within a secure and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lifeguard Duties:

• Oversee students in swimming classes, extracurricular activities, and events.
• Enforce safety regulations at the pool and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of pool facilities and equipment.
• Provide first aid, CPR, or emergency care as necessary.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the pool area.
• Support PE teachers during swimming lessons.

PE Coach Duties:

• Develop and implement PE lessons that meet international curriculum standards.
• Instruct on fundamental movement skills, team sports, fitness, and health education.
• Tailor instruction to accommodate diverse age groups and abilities (K–12).
• Coordinate school sports events, inter-house competitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Track and evaluate student progress while offering constructive feedback.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

Volleyball Coaching Duties:

• Create and lead volleyball training sessions for middle and high school students.
• Enhance student-athletes' skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Organize inter-house tournaments and after-school volleyball clubs.
• Coach school volleyball teams during competitions.
