Job Description
As a Middle School English teacher, you will design and deliver engaging lessons based on the Cambridge framework while adhering to Hungarian national education policies. You will cultivate a student-centered classroom that promotes academic growth, confidence, and a passion for learning. Experience in teaching digital culture and science would be beneficial.
Your responsibilities will include planning lessons, evaluating student progress, offering constructive feedback, and collaborating with both Hungarian and international colleagues to enhance the primary program. The ideal candidate will be a reflective, driven educator devoted to delivering high-quality instruction and pursuing continuous professional development.
Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher, along with a recognized teaching qualification
- Have at least two years of recent and relevant experience in primary education
- Familiarity with, or a willingness to adapt to, the Cambridge framework for English subjects
- Strong grasp of student-centered and inquiry-based learning methodologies
- Excellent classroom management and organizational capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a bilingual and multicultural team
- A commitment to personal professional development and contributing to a growing school
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality English instruction in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum
- Foster a student-centered learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and self-confidence
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in accordance with school policies
- Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse needs of learners
- Collaborate with Hungarian and international colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives
