Position Overview: We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to become a part of our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere, aiding students with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their utmost potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with classroom teachers to create and execute inclusive strategies tailored to the varied learning requirements of students with SEN.
- Offer differentiated instruction and support to individual students or small groups, nurturing an inclusive and encouraging learning space.
- Carry out assessments to identify students with SEN and collaboratively develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with the SEN team and parents.
- Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and external specialists to establish a cooperative support network for students with SEN.
- Apply evidence-based interventions and accommodations to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Keep abreast of best practices, research, and innovations in the realm of special education and inclusion.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that honors diversity and fosters a sense of belonging for all students.
