THE VACANCY
Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a committed Head of Key Stage 2 Physical Education to join our team beginning August 2026. This distinguished leadership position within our Prep School is focused on developing and enriching a high-quality, inclusive, and engaging Physical Education program for Key Stage 2. We seek a dynamic and outstanding educator who can inspire a love for physical activity, promote healthy living, and encourage both participation and excellence in sports.
The perfect candidate will have a robust background in teaching and leadership, a clear vision for Primary PE within a prestigious independent school, and the capability to execute a comprehensive, engaging, and well-structured program that caters to students of diverse abilities.

THE ROLE
As the Head of Key Stage 2 Physical Education, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of PE across the Prep School (Years 3–6), ensuring a high-quality, engaging, and inclusive program that promotes participation, skill development, and enjoyment.
The successful candidate will develop a forward-thinking KS2 PE curriculum that addresses the needs of students of all abilities while identifying and nurturing athletic potential. This role will require close collaboration with colleagues from both the Prep and Senior Schools to ensure consistency and coherence within our wider sports offerings.
Furthermore, this position will play an essential role in our co-curricular sports program, including fixtures, clubs, and events, which will help foster a vibrant and active sporting culture within the school.
