Key Purpose
Are you prepared to motivate and guide the future generation of learners? GEMS Metropole Al Waha is in search of an energetic and forward-thinking leader to step into the position of Head of FS. This essential leadership role within our institution provides the chance to influence the educational journey of our young students while making a substantial contribution to our overall school vision. The individual in this position will be responsible for leading, managing, and holding accountability for:
- Leadership & Management
- Student Achievement & Well-being
- Parental Engagement & Communication
- Administrative & Operational Responsibilities
- Supporting the Behaviour for Learning Policy
- Promoting the school’s vision and ethos to ensure every child flourishes.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, your role will include:
- Clearly articulating a vision for FS that aligns with the school’s values, maintaining high expectations and standards.
- Advocating for student progress, well-being, and positive behavior by establishing ambitious performance targets and nurturing an inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Supervising curriculum implementation, assessment, and the professional development of staff to guarantee innovative and consistent teaching methods.
- Inspiring and effectively managing teams to encourage collaboration, professional development, and a dedication to quality.
- Ensuring optimal resource utilization, including financial planning and staff allocation, to support exceptional learning outcomes.
- Fostering strong connections with parents, caregivers, external agencies, and the local community, serving as an ambassador for the school and Key Stage 1.
Promoting High Performance Learning
- Leading staff in the promotion of the HPL framework and cultivating a culture of excellence.
- Driving enhancements in student outcomes and supporting cognitive and personal development.
- Facilitating staff training and development in alignment with HPL principles.
- Ensuring adherence to HPL World Class School standards through the accreditation process.
